Eco Terra Latex Mattress Unboxing

Unboxing your new Eco Terra Latex Mattress is exciting. You’ve been waiting, and now your big day has arrived. Here’s what you need to do to make sure your unboxing goes off without a hitch.

Opening Your Box

Before you open your new Eco Terra Latex Hybrid Mattress, it’s a good idea to move your latex mattress to the room where you’ll be placing your mattress. Latex mattresses are heavier than other types of mattresses you may have owned in the past. 

If you have a queen, king, or california king latex mattress, you may require two people to move the mattress.

Open your box carefully. If using a knife or box cutter to open the cardboard box, take great care that you do not accidentally nick your mattress or yourself, with the blade.

Sliding Your Mattress Out of the Box

Your latex mattress is tightly rolled in thick plastic sheeting to maintain its shape, and to prevent it from expanding, during the shipping process. It should slide of out the box easily.

Once you have your latex mattress out of the box, place it on your mattress foundation or box spring, while it is still wrapped in the thick plastic sheeting.

Then, carefully cut away the outer layer of plastic sheeting, and remove it completely from the mattress.

Note: Once you cut the plastic sheeting away, your latex mattress will begin to expand immediately, and rapidly. 

That’s all there is to it! Your latex mattress will fully expand within the hour and you can sleep on it that night.
