Organic Latex

We partner directly with sustainable farms in Asia to source our exceptional-quality certified organic latex, which is free from harmful substances. Because we use single-origin latex and never a latex blend or synthetics, our latex is seamless, eliminating the potential for mattress breakdown, and we use no chemical adhesives.

We offer the Eco Terra at two firmness levels: Medium and Medium-Firm. Our Medium latex mattress has an indentation load deflection (ILD) of 24-26, and our Medium-Firm latex mattress has an ILD of 29-31. Both firmnesses are made with one seamless 3” Organic latex layer.

GOTS Certified Organic Wool
No additives, no synthetics, no chemicals—just soft, GOTS certified organic wool, carefully layered under the certified organic cotton cover of every Eco Terra latex mattress. We don’t skimp on quality and you won’t find any rayon, polyester, or chemical flame retardants. Instead, you’ll enjoy the softness of carefully harvested wool that is certified organic so you can rest assured that you’re getting the best sleep available in nature.

No synthetic fabric or fabric blend can compare to our GOTS certified organic cotton cover. We ethically source our cotton and ensure that it is of the highest quality with no blends, harmful dyes, or chemicals.
Quantum Coils
No dips or sags—our premium upcycled steel coils have been heat-treated and stress-relieved to provide firm edge-to-edge support that lasts. Each spring is encased with food-grade polypropylene fabric that is both non-woven and non-toxic. This unique casing makes the springs float independently, improving airflow, support, and spinal alignment. Two wire gauges (a narrower 16 gauge for edge support and a 15 gauge for center support) ensures that each coil offers just the right amount of give.

    No! Prior versions of our Eco Terra latex mattress contained a thin, non-toxic, CertiPUR-US® certified polyurethane foam layer, but in our ongoing quest to build the very best natural mattress, we replaced it with premium, GOTS-certified organic wool. Just another way we help you sleep better, naturally.

  • WHAT SETUP DO YOU RECOMMEND FOR THE ECO TERRA?

    The Eco Terra natural latex mattress can be used on orthopedic foundations, platform beds, slatted bases, and even adjustable bases. Be sure that the mattress foundation has adequate support and that the Eco Terra is up off the ground to ensure you get the best sleep experience.

  • WHAT DOES THE ECO TERRA FEEL LIKE?

    The combination of individually-encased coils and all-natural latex provides a soft, supportive feel that eliminates pressure points and provides profoundly restful sleep. Customers have described it as feeling like “sleeping on a cloud.”

Medium (ILD 24-26) blends support with softness. Medium is recommended for side sleepers, lighter weight sleepers, and anyone who needs extra relief from pressure point pain in the shoulders, hips, and knees.

Medium-Firm (ILD 29-31) delivers firm support with enough "give" for comfort. Medium-Firm is popular with back sleepers, stomach sleepers, and larger adults.
